THECOLORTOONs Color Development Studio purpose is to help facilitate a seamless transition from conceptual color ideas to their practical applications. The studio provides color development services to CMF designers and design studios for concept, prototype and special projects.
The studio creates colors using PPG Envirobase and BASF GLASURIT waterborne products.

THE PROCESS
The goal is to assist with a smooth transition from color ideas to physical applications. A designer or design team creates and tests a color through physical samples. Samples are sprayed in-house using automotive paint systems. After approval, the studio is able to mix large quantities of color and deliver to the fabricator. Finally, the studio is readily available to provide technical support and guidance in its application phase.
